Raw Basics Class in Mississauga

My raw food journey started when I was a student at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition with my friend Evelyn Dekleine sharing her lunch and some of her recipes with me. Then I got my hands on a copy of Thirty Days Raw (a documentary about the amazing changes brought about by eating a living foods diet in a group of people with diabetes). A whole new world was opening up but at this point I was not committed to raw foods just yet. I was taking baby steps, trying to make raw crackers, smoothies and patĂ©s. Then one day I lost my cracker recipe, and went online to find a replacement for it – what I found was a wealth of information, lots of recipes but also stories about the life changing effects of raw food. I found Karen Knowler, Russel James and Eva Rawposa and the rest is history.

My focus as a Holistic Nutritionist has become food, vegan and raw food at that. I do not like labels and everyone is welcome to my workshops. I hope to inspire people to experiment with living foods and to feel the difference in energy and vitality when incorporating more and more healthy foods into their diets.
